We ensure compliance with the requirements of Peru’s Ministry of Labour and Employment Promotion (MINTRA) and strengthen your Occupational Health and Safety Management System through objective, technical audits that identify improvement opportunities and prevent workplace risks.

Why it is essential

Why your company needs it

Law No. 29783 requires every employer to have an Occupational Health and Safety Management System and to prove it with documents and records. SUNAFIL inspects, often unannounced, and penalises every missing requirement.

What you risk without it

  • SUNAFIL fines of up to 52.53 UIT for each very serious infringement.
  • Work stoppage or temporary closure of the area.
  • Criminal liability for the employer if a worker is injured.

Consultation, hazard reporting and learning from operational experience.

03

Incident investigation

Cause analysis and action follow-up beyond individual blame.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is auditing the OHS management system mandatory?

Yes. Peruvian occupational health and safety regulations require the management system to be evaluated periodically. We explain what applies to your organisation given its size and activity, and how to prepare.

How do you prepare us for a labour inspection?

We review the documents usually requested, verify conditions in the field and run a mock inspection, so your team arrives prepared and with its evidence in order.

Which documents should we have ready?

At a minimum: OHS policy and objectives, IPERC, risk map, annual OHS and training programmes, mandatory records, committee or supervisor minutes and occupational medical examinations. We check each one during the document review.
